...brought to you from Telford, the birthplace of industry, in the heart of Shropshire
The Phoenix Model Engineering Society is situated within Telford Steam Railway and can be accessed from the platform.We have approximately 1/5 mile of continuous 5" ground level track which is designed into two circuits of the area, there is also a miniature station and a 20' tunnel

All funds raised from our passengers is ploughed back into our railway, we have just finished the tunnel which was extended last year and are also in the process of replacing all the sleepers and some of the track which is wearing out, we are contemplating building another shorter tunnel and a carriage shed in the near future along with the possibility of extending the track
